Welcome & thanks for visiting me here at craig-morgan.co.uk!

To get the basics out-of-the-way with you’ve mostly likely guessed I’m Craig Morgan, I come from a smallish town (Llanelli) in the best country in the world (Wales!) and I’m in my mid 20′s

I’ve always been interested in a huge range of subjects or learning new things, but over the past 6 months I have gone through a remarkable change that has allowed me to really study myself, get to the core of who I am, what values I want my life to represent, who I am as a person and my new great outlook on life!

This site represents one of my goals in life, not just to create an online profile, but to teach, to pass on things I’ve learnt, my realisations, thoughts and of course questions to you.

I’ve been lucky enough to find all this out rather early in my life, but there are still millions, if not billions of people all stuck in the same routine, getting the same problems and not knowing how to solve them. All you need to do is look inside yourself and ask the right questions to find out who you are!

After asking questions to myself I’ve begun to find out who I truly am, the linchpin, a mensan, a scanner.
The journeys not over yet but I’ve got motivation and excitement on my side so the only thing I need to do is sit back and ride this roller coaster called LIFE & live it to its fullest!

Taglines say a lot about who you are! Here’s a little information about mine… Linchpin I’m someone who … Read more

Taglines say a lot about who you are! Here’s a little information about mine…

Linchpin

I’m someone who doesn’t like job specs, isn’t going to sit there and follow a manual on how to do the task at hand, in all honesty that bores me!
If I see something that needs completing to help me do my job I’ll do it, I’ll find new ways to do it more efficiently, quicker, and for the benefits of whatever project I’m working on.
I thrive on challenges, always looking for the next one which will improve my skills and abilities. If given an objective I’ll find my own way there, I’ll create the path without needing my hand held all the way to the end.
I do things as gifts to others, always there when needed, that small bit of input, few lines of code or out of the box thinking, I’ve always got the time. It helps me create connections, to be a key part of any system or project.
I’m not just a replaceable cog that you could hire any monkey to do…I’m a linchpin!

For more information on life as a linchpin I suggest you read the insightful book: Linchpin by Seth Godin.

Mensan

A childhood dream, always wondering whether I was good enough to join that elite 98 percentile. It’s given me hope that whatever I put my mind to I can achieve, it’s set me rolling down that hill looking for challenges to knock down in life. From the moment I became a member of Mensa I knew nothing was going to be the same again and I look forward to the next challenge in life!

Scanner

Always knowing since I was young that I enjoyed too many things to just pick one which I’d do for the rest of my life.
I enjoyed the challenge of trying new things, learning everything I can and implementing it. Recently I found out that there’s a name for this personality type, a Scanner, or what I prefer, A Renaissance Man.
Originally I thought this would be an issue in my life, something I should hide from others in case I couldn’t get a job or career I wanted, although finding out that Isaac Newton, Thomas Jefferson, Leonardo da Vinci and many more historical figures were also renaissance men just makes me excited that I’m one too!
It allow me to think from different perspectives, be enthusiastic about new experiences & challenges in life. Just because I don’t want to stick with one subject doesn’t mean I’m not good in a normal career, most companies don’t know how to handle a scanner, they don’t realise, especially with my other talents (above), how best to use my abilities, they stifle people like me into doing a standard job spec which will only hold back my creativity, kill my motivation & force me to find more exciting things to do to push myself. The moment companies realise a scanner potential they have a new weapon in their arsenal for any project!

For more information on the Scanner personality you can read the following interesting articles:
